Abstract

"Fragmentation and segregation of the executive functions"
The frontal lobe is the center of executive functions.
In this seminar, the reasons to consider the concept (and the conclusion) of “frontal syndrome” as outdated will be taken into account, and the reasons to embrace the hypothesis of the fragmentation of the executive functions in respect to their anatomical segregation within the frontal lobes will be exposed.
